I'm switching from a Ryzen 3600 to a 5800X and checking if my 650W power supply would work. I'm using a Ryzen 5 3600 with 32GB RAM, 3200MHz, MSI Gaming X Trio, RTX 3070, Corsair TX-M 650W Gold, and a setup with three SSDs, one hard drive, five fans, and USB ports.

Simple option available; also think about reducing voltage for lower heat/use while maintaining performance. Edited March 24, 2024 by leclod

Yeah, no problem The 3070 draws 220w and the 5800x draws around 105-130w. Plenty of power left for the rest of the system
