Looking for Overwatch stats at high settings 1080p using Ryzen 5 processors. Anyone who owns a Ryzen 5 and plays Overwatch would appreciate hearing their experience!

It should work well with six cores and twelve threads. At 1080p it runs about 1.8% slower and 1.8% faster than the i5-7600K for the same budget. That’s a clear advantage. You’ll see less than a 10% drop in performance versus a 7700K at 1080p with a more affordable quad-core 1500X.

Could this processor perform better than your current i5 4460?

The main focus is stronger. The dual-core version is also good, but not significantly better.

Thanks for the reminder! I'll remember this when I have the funds to buy the Ryzen.

Everyone should acknowledge AMD's pressure tactics—forcing 6c/12t at Cannon Lake—while wondering if Intel could succeed alone to keep mainstream i7 prices low forever.

Though remember that if you need better Overwatch performance, upgrade the GPU first. It's the main bottleneck in your system. This is incredible to me, the value of R5 1600 is just amazing. You pretty much get an i7-5820K-6800K at the price of an i5 with lower power consumption... Gaming performance is not far from it as well.
