Ryzen 5 7600
Ryzen 5 7600
Hello, I'm planning to assemble a PC using a Ryzen 5 7600 and still need to decide on the graphics card (I haven't purchased one yet, I'll buy it later). I'm considering the NZXT H7 Flow case and remember he suggested the Lian Li 216, but I don't like the two front fans. My main concern is choosing a motherboard—should I go with micro ATX or ATX? The ATX option seems more flexible for future upgrades, though they tend to be pricier. If you need Wi-Fi support, that would be great too.
The ASRock B650M Pro RS offers solid performance for the 7600 and upcoming processors. The MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI is another solid choice for Micro ATX builds. ATX enthusiasts often favor the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI or Tomahawk WIFI, while Gigabyte recommends the B650 GAMING X AX. I personally prefer the ASUS TUF B650 WIFI, which has performed well with my 7700x. I've also tested these boards alongside AM5 systems, all running smoothly. Even with top-tier CPUs like the 7900X or 7800X3D.
The biggest drawback of mATX is reduced connectivity options. Boards tend to have fewer PCIe ports, M.2 slots, and USB/SATA connectors since they are compact. Unless you require extra expansion slots or storage, it's perfectly fine with mATX—there are no significant downsides for future CPU or graphics upgrades.
