5600X would be perfect, that's all you require. If you're interested in additional productivity tasks such as CAD, rendering, or video editing, a 5800X might be a better fit—the extra cores would be beneficial. For gaming purposes, just 5600X is sufficient.
5600X delivers strong performance. I purchased a 5900X at 5GHz, only to learn it’s overkill. As it turned out, it really is! If you don’t need the extra cores, go for the best fit for your needs. I’m still weighing whether to bring my 5600 back.
Running 4x8GB in Aida64 was quite an experience. Thinking about the price versus what it could handle.
