Pc doesn't start with a new cpu when the gpu is in the first slot, but works when it's in the second slot. After replacing my old cpu everything functions properly.

Details:
Ryzen 7 3700X (old)
Ryzen 5 3600X (new)
EVGA Gtx 1080 ti SC2 Hybrid
16 gb Adata xpg spectrix d60g
3600 Mhz
PSU EVGA Supernova P6 750 plat 80%
MSI X570 gaming edge wifi.
Tried a bios reset with the jumper and also by disconnecting the battery, leaving it for 10 or 15 minutes.

Checking your BIOS version for the motherboard. Do you consider it brand new, new from the box, or new for you?

Why the downgrade? Bios revision shouldn't matter, as x570 supported both chips out of the box, unless you have a revision that is buggy.

I want something brand new, the R7 3700X was my first CPU I owned, and then I swapped accounts with a friend for his R5 3600X. I’m sure it’s running perfectly. I’ll look into the BIOS version later.

you're planning to sell the r5 and just want to confirm it's functioning correctly.

3700x and 3600 are compatible with the same bios. Inspect the pins of 3600.
