I need to upgrade my Ryzen 5 3600 cooler. It handles high temps well—around 65-70°C when idle and 80-85°C during games at 30-35°C ambient. My case is short on vertical space, so I’m considering the Master Hyper 410 or the DEPP Cooling Gamma 400. Which one would suffice? TIA

A simple aftermarket cooler is sufficient for the 3600. Check out this temperature test video featuring the GammaXxx400 with the 3600.

The Wraith Prism cooler seems to be a great choice for your 3600.

I believe Wraith Max is the option we have available, it looks good at around 65 under stress, whereas the current version is roughly 80-90 which bothers me a lot.

It's unclear why the cooler for the X600 model was reduced in value. I understand that the 1600 includes a Wraith Spire and the 3600 has a downgraded Wraith Stealth version. The Wraith Stealth is considered poor quality, while the Wraith Spire is acceptable.

They probably cut the price thinking people will upgrade to better parts, but I’m upgrading from an i3 4160 where temps stay around 55–60°C. At 80–85°C under load it’s really bothersome.
