Hello everyone, I know some might think it's a joke, but I wanted to make sure... I'm planning to assemble an AM4 build for my relatively small server enclosure. I've found what seems like a perfect CPU/Motherboard pairing, but I've read online that certain boards require a BIOS upgrade to support newer Ryzen processors. Upgrading would need an older Ryzen model to boot and apply the update. Since I don't have access to an older CPU, I'm curious—would these components work together without any changes?
All MSI boards named MAX are assured to include a revised BIOS for third-gen Ryzen processors.
