I have an Asrock a320m-hd and a Ryzen 3 2200g. My graphics card is an RX 580 with 8GB of memory, but it struggles to keep up with my GPU. I’m considering switching to a Ryzen 5 3600 because it offers more cores and a faster clock speed. However, I’ve read mixed opinions online—some warn against using it with this motherboard, while others claim it can still handle gaming. Since I live in Brazil where temperatures often reach around 53°C, I’m concerned about overheating. Would that be a serious issue? If so, are there better CPU options available in the same price range or lower?

The board supports 90A, shouldn't be an issue. For VRM concerns, adding a fan would help. A Wraith Prism cooler from a friend could be a great upgrade. Good luck!

Series boards can often cause problems if they lack sufficient VRM power. Overheating might occur, leading to performance issues. In some cases, adding heat sinks and a fan could resolve the issue, but for certain older A320 models it may still be too much. You might need to upgrade the motherboard to support the new CPU. Check the VRM tierlist in the motherboard section—it can indicate compatible CPUs.
