If you decide to change the original design, I recommend purchasing an aftermarket cooler from brands like Cooler Master or Noctua. The Noctua NH-D15 is excellent, though it may appear slightly worn.

You don’t need to push it too hard—your regular cooler should suffice. I haven’t heard great reviews about the stock cooler for the 3600, so I’m checking to confirm.

No, the stock cooler works fine when you run at full speed. The AMD stock cooler is really good.

If you avoid overclocking, you won’t require an aftermarket heatsink. Spending $80 could be better used for something valuable like a larger SSD/HDD or more RAM.

The processor speed will drop slightly because of increased heat, like moving from 80°C to 70°C might add about 100MHz. In games, it should run more smoothly than under stress tests since GPUs are usually hit harder, though you might still notice the CPU fan humming while the GPU stays quiet.

That depends a lot on personal preference. For now, go with the stock model and it should suffice. AMD's stock coolers outperform Intel's compact flat push-pin units significantly.
