no one knows how to lower the voltage on those Ryzen mobile CPUs. your Ryzen 5 3550h runs well around 60°C under normal use, and adjusting the power plan shouldn't affect that much.

I don't have personal experiences, but typically gaming and similar tasks can cause temperatures to rise depending on the hardware and workload.

If you're not experiencing thermal throttling, you likely don't need to lower the voltage on the CPU. As long as temperatures stay acceptable during operation—temperatures around 80 are manageable for a laptop—that usually works fine.

You're right, undervolting the Ryzen 5 3550H isn't an option since AMD doesn't support it. Regarding your second point, yes, undervolting can indeed extend the lifespan of both the device and the CPU by reducing stress on components.

It would be better if the vcore profile was already very high. For instance, if a CPU uses a fixed voltage with no negative offset—say 1.5—but an undervolt would extend its lifespan. Just a quick note, sorry for the unclear explanation.
