Based on my observations, Ryzen's performance isn't heavily constrained by heat, but rather by silicon capabilities. You're right—most users aim for around 4.5 volts. Typically, people set it a bit lower, like 1.35 volts.

It's not possible to run at 4.5V. That voltage would damage the CPU. You should aim for 1.5V or lower.

That’s quite a lot of vCore boost for an extra 100MHz. It’s suggested to keep the voltage at 1.35v max on those chips. I’ve tested 1.39375 on the first-gen Ryzen and had no problems. Anything above 1.4vCore isn’t ideal for me unless it’s just a quick benchmark run. EDIT – I own a River 5 on my 3600, which is a solid cooler and performs well.

Ok, well being that it's running awesome like this. Is there any reason I can't run like this until I run into problems and then change to a better cpu at that point? That may be a stupid question. Please dont be afraid to say so....
