I shared some updates on the forum and recently purchased Battlefield V, which I’m enjoying but have a few worries about. 1: My MOBI when I received it didn’t come with an IO shield, which bothered me, and I suspect my case might have airflow problems—could use a buddy here! 2: The CPU temperatures are extremely high, reaching 75 and possibly even higher, though I’ve kept them from getting worse to avoid any issues. I didn’t set up my PC the way my brother’s did, and we bought these components a few months ago when everything was very costly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m curious if there’s a way to reduce CPU temps without switching to water cooling—my case is designed for airflow only.
I’m not sure about all those steps, but I’ve got enough knowledge to make it work. The DVD drive won’t move without removing the mount, and without a fan it won’t help because the mesh can’t reach the required height.
It seems you're pointing out that there were already two front fans installed because of the low lighting at the base. You also mention that the temperatures during operation are typical for the Wraith Spire, around 75-85°C when under load.
Don't stress about 75C, focus on whether it exceeds 95C during maximum operation.
Yes there is such a cooler!!! Just get a Wraith Prism. And that cooler will handle a 105w upgrade for later.
The Deepcool AS500 performs well with the 5950X setup. The second fan on that unit caused some noise, so I opted to use an additional top-case fan for better cooling.
