Ryzen 5 1600 Overclocking Problems on AIDA64
Multiple posts sometimes occur. It generally happens when shutdown lasts more than a day or two. There isn't much information available, but someone says it's a modern MB design to safeguard components and boost stability. My system will also post multiple times occasionally, even if it passed prime95 (not advised by many due to its overly harsh stress test), AIDA64, or real bench tests.
Auto isn't ideal because the system tends to overpower, and someone noted a very brief 1.6v reading when left on auto. Manual is the most secure choice.
Hello, for me the situation is different. I managed to reach OC my 1600 to 3.75ghz at AUTO voltage (1.2V). When I tried OC to 3.8 it became unstable, so I increased the voltage to 1.3... Every time I change the voltage, even if I go undervoltage, CPU says it's running at 1550mhz. Do you have any advice? I own a BEQUIET! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler... At 3.75ghz and under load from gaming, temperatures only rise to 45°C, so it seems the temperature isn't the issue.
Auto -> VCore voltage will fluctuate; it isn't maintained at 1.2 consistently...
The voltage adjustment affects the core voltage, and it isn't fixed at 1.2. Changing the voltage manually to 1.3 causes the clock speed to drop to 1550mhz.
