Ryzen 5 1600 4.0 GHZ Stable?
Ryzen 5 1600 4.0 GHZ Stable?
I have my Ryzen 5 1600 running at 4 GHZ with 1.375v, consistently passing all benchmarks. I’ve played Doom maxed out for around ten hours without any problems. Destiny 2 also reached its limits in 4K, and the PC has been running nonstop for 24/7. The watercooler uses a 240mm AIO, idles at about 24°C, and stays under 100% load up to 64°C. Would you think this setup is stable overclocked?
That's a great original character you've created. Your performance looks stable. My Ryzen 1600 at stock settings hits 65 during gaming, even with around 40% load. Also, if your system and applications aren't crashing as mentioned earlier, you're in a good spot, my friend!
Yes, I understand everything. I have a decent case (CM masterbox lite 5 RGB). I'm located very close to the equator, so my room temperatures never drop below 22. Remember when you assisted me with the mini 1060 and high temperatures on Tom's? What I really wanted to convey is that he has a very stable system with great temperature control. Probably he lives near the poles, haha. The issue with my setup is entirely mine because I picked an unsuitable case for my location.
I'm also near the equator. The room temperature with the windows open is 24C, and it's a chilly evening today XD
I still recall that little story—it was a pleasure helping you
