Hey! I recently assembled a PC with this setup:
CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1600
CPU Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 SE-AM4 140.2 CFM
Motherboard: Gigabyte - GA-AB350-GAMING 3 ATX AM4
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5"
Storage: Western Digital - BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card: ZOTAC - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP!
Power Supply: Corsair - RMx 650W 80+ Gold Power Supply
I have F6 version for BIOS. Is it safe to update the BIOS? Should I overclock the RAM? I believe my performance is quite low, considering these components:
In BF1, 1080p @144hz, DX12, Suez map, 24 players:
GPU: 55-70% load
CPU: 35-58% load
with a minimum of 69 fps and a maximum of 144.
Thanks!

Overclocking RAM in Ryzen systems provides a slight improvement. Simply apply the XMP preset for convenience. Updating the BIOS is also safe, but ensure you download it from the official Gigabyte site rather than other sources. The maximum performance is likely around 144 FPS when V-Sync remains enabled. Disabling V-Sync can increase frame rate but may cause more screen tearing.

I'll update the BIOS and set the RAM to its rated speeds. Also, check your processor if you haven't done so already.
