Ryzen 5 1400 core temperature at 86°C during a Prime95 stress test
Hi, everyone, I tried the new Ryzen95 and wanted to check its performance. At full load, the core temperatures reached 86°C, which feels a bit high since the CPU isn’t overclocked. My cooling system is top-notch. Maybe I didn’t install the cooler properly. Any advice?
The goal is to overclock gently, not excessively, up to 3.8Mhz at most. I decided to do this because I needed a better cooler since the 1400 comes with Wraith Stealth, and I thought the be quite would be a better choice. I believe reseating the cooler could help, so I’ll give it a try.
