Hello! Your Ryzen 7 4650G with 16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz offers solid performance. Running games on both 16GB and 32GB RAM configurations will likely improve stability and reduce lag, especially in memory-intensive titles. If you have others with similar setups, sharing their FPS results would be helpful.

What titles? Mostly they won't change much.

Are your memory slots fully utilized during gameplay? Otherwise, you won't notice significant improvements.

RAM is quite straightforward to understand. Check your current usage and increase it if you're close to capacity. This is the sole factor affecting performance when you're reaching your maximum. Task Manager typically provides reliable data on RAM consumption.

32GB of RAM is unlikely to significantly affect game performance versus 16GB. The actual speed of the RAM matters more for Ryzen APUs than the quantity.

However, because I run on an igpu, I've often reached my full 16GB memory a couple of times, even without playing games.

It's not about how much, it's about how well. A 16GB is sufficient, but a faster RAM would be ideal. Ryzen performs best with quick memory speeds.

My APU isn't working right now. I've added a fairly old discrete GPU with 2GB of memory. In Call of Duty: Warzone, about 14GB of RAM is being used based on Task Manager. If the APU was active, it would exceed the limit since I usually keep it at 4GB. Thanks for helping me sort this out!
