I'm considering switching from a Ryzen 2200G to another processor or APU. I have a 1060 with 3GB RAM and a 16GB CL34 GPU, which is currently limiting my options and making upgrades difficult. Because of these constraints, I'm leaning toward an APU instead of nothing at all, just in case my GPU doesn't work out. I'd rather invest in a solid card now than rush into a purchase due to inflation. The boards available are Auros PRO B550 and MSI B550 Mortar. The APUs I see are 4650G and 3400G, but the store can't suggest one for me. Also, Intel is out of stock right now—only CPUs like the Celeron 6400 are available, which isn't powerful enough.

The 4650G offers improved performance, though it's available exclusively through OEM channels. You'll likely find it either refurbished or via the grey market. Your decision on whether to rely on it depends on your preferences.

The store offered a one-year standard warranty, but it's unclear about the policy for distributors and manufacturers. They mentioned their brand-new products and emphasized a focus on quality and style.

3400G isn't officially backed by the B550 chipset—could it function or not? Tell me about your current motherboard with a 2200G.

Consider swapping the MB for a better option. The A320 works with the 3400G, or you can choose a Ryzen 2600 if you need it paired with a GTX 1060 that has 3GB of VRAM.

my system doesn't fully utilize its RAM right now. it's limited to around 2999MHz, and I'm considering upgrading the CPU to get better performance.
