Ryzen 4500u with Hackintosh setup and Nvidia MX-350 graphics card
Yes, but limit yourself to High Sierra since the MX350 runs on Pascal. Only Kepler cards are compatible with Mojave and newer versions. Recommend using OpenCore instead of Clover for your bootloader.
No, using a MX GPU on Hackintosh isn't recommended. Success stories aren't common with this chip. Pascal receives limited support even in older macOS versions, and it's not compatible with the newest OS. The AMD APU (4500u) won't be supported either. For near-perfect compatibility, pair an Intel CPU with an AMD GPU laptop. If you've already purchased it, you can still run it in a VM. I tried this last night on my Ryzen and it worked. https://github.com/Ken5998/OpenCore-VMwa...tation-AMD
AMD support is decent if you're using opencore. Still, Adobe programs often fail on it. HS remains the only stable option, though even that may have issues. Until AMD adds a Ryzen chip with a Vega 20 GPU, you won't be able to utilize your IGPU. You'll need to turn off your IGPU in your BIOS settings. Efforts are underway for improvements in AMD's IGPU area, and you can follow the Vega community on Telegram for beta releases. In short, consider using KVM with a pass-through setup. The MX350 seems unlikely to work either. Mobile Nvidia chips have had trouble before, so expect some unofficial modifications. You're likely to rely on tools like Lilu and fake MCs, which should help. KVM works well with VMware/VBOX because of the L1 hypervisor; two-level hypervisors are less reliable. AMD APUs are now viable for Hackintosh setups. My repository with examples is here: https://github.com/gorouflex/amdlaptophackintosh
