RYZEN 3700X memory tuning guide
You're facing some challenges with your memory tuning setup. Based on what you've shared, it seems you're experimenting with different configurations and haven't quite succeeded. It might help to double-check your RAM type and specifications—especially confirming that your ASRock b550 Pro M is compatible with DDR4 3200 CL16 modules. Also, ensure the motherboard supports those speeds and that the RAM is correctly seated. If you're still having trouble, consider reaching out to the manufacturer's support or checking community forums for similar experiences.
I attempted a little, but I’m unsure which RAM I have since I’m using Windows 11 and can’t use Typhoon.
I also attempted on Windows 10 and the area indicating the die type remained empty.
I need to quote someone to get a reply. Then I'll say forget it, it's not worth the time to adjust the settings yourself. The team has many suppliers for their RAM chips, so it makes sense they'd replace it. 3200C16 is actually a good choice, but I'm thinking 3200 C15/14 at 1.4V.
3200 is acceptable, but it doesn't justify the work since achieving faster speeds would likely require significant timing adjustments. Ideally, you'd prefer tighter timing, which remains a dream when budget constraints are involved.
