That’s a strong claim...it really varies by game and settings. On average, the 5700xt tends to align more with the 2060s and 2070s in most titles, as optimizations for Nvidia drivers are more prevalent. I believe you increased it by a full tier beyond its actual performance in real-world gaming.

I’m leaning toward 2070 mainly because of the 5700XT thermal problems. What you’re referring to is its significantly higher temperatures compared to the 2070, roughly about 10°C warmer. Confirm that’s right?

The heat generated remains consistent. Updrafts depend on the cooler side of the card. The XFX 5700 tends to get hot, whereas the Nitro+ and Red Devil usually stay cooler compared to many cards from the 2070s.
