Dude, Userbenchmark is useful for comparing parts, but it’s not the Holy Bible. In most single-threaded jobs, 3600X outperforms 2700X. The only advantage of 2700X is having two extra cores. Its design is older, it doesn’t support PCIe Gen 4, and it doesn’t improve gaming performance over a 3600X. I understand you’re standing by your results, but honestly, it doesn’t really cover the topic well. As Bane might say, “You fight like a younger man. Impressive… but wrong.”
In the bios settings, enabling XMP usually increases their clock speed. Switching RAM from 2133 to 2933 might improve performance by about 10-15%, raising frame rates from 90 to 100 fps. This enhancement may not be sufficient for your needs.
22 months Ryzen 7 2700X offer comparable pricing to 8 months 5 3600X. The main drawback is the Pcle 4 model. However, currently these deals apply mainly to 4GB GPUs, particularly the Radeon RX 5500 XT 4GB, delivering better performance from the 7 2700X CPU onwards. For 7 3700X, it's only available with 1080p gaming support...
These sticks are rated at 2133, so XMP just stays put. I’d have to do it manually or upgrade, but I’ve already tried and don’t want to jump back into the overclocking zone.
