A 3600X would likely perform excellently in Warzone. Your Ryzen 7 1700 works well in that game, too. You might purchase a 3600X right now, and if you need even more cores, wait for the Ryzen 4000 release and consider getting a 3700x or 3800x on the used market at the best price.

Yeah I meant more like "get a 3600 now, you'll be happy with it" with a very light "but if you still want more performance/cores; wait a bit until Ryzen 4000 is out for a cheap Ryzen 7 3700X on the second hand market".
