Ryzen 3500x is a powerful processor model.
The 3500x is exclusive to Chinese CPUs and would likely not work with a Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard. Your LG 1151 cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo would probably not fit an AM4 board.
I tested a 3500 on a Gigabyte A320M A m.2 and believe it will function fine on a B450m DS3H. The cooler setup might pose a challenge since the two connectors are mounted differently; if you have a dedicated mount with the cooler, it should work.
It should function properly. Check the support list to verify compatibility with Ryzen 3000. Be aware I don’t recommend a 6-core processor without an SMART chip. Some 6-core i5 models have performance problems in several games, especially when pushed to full capacity. If you manage to obtain a 3300x or 3600, both will perform better than the original CPU. Unless you purchase an AM4 mounting hardware package (which is pricier due to shipping), it won’t fit.
I currently possess a quad-core i5 7600K that has been having issues with the games I play lately, making this a solid upgrade option for me.
The issue you're facing with your i5 is ongoing and has been present for some time, especially with the 6-core i5 models. This pattern applies to Ryzen as well. It seems similar problems will arise with upcoming consoles, where 6 cores will likely be preferred. Choosing a 3600 or 3300X would be advantageous.
It seems this product is available mainly in Indian and Bangladesh markets, possibly exclusive to Asia. You can confirm this on the QVL page: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B45...upport-cpu. It appears you need the AM4 bracket, which might not be included with your system. For better performance, I recommend a Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 3 3300X instead of the 3500X. If the 3600 offers only minor gains, the 3300X would be preferable; otherwise, go for the 3600.
I reviewed comparisons between the 3500x and 3600, seeing only about 5% difference in performance. With my quad-core i5, it’s still a better option for me. I keep playing in 1080p, which works just fine.
