I have an asrock b450m pro4 with a ryzen 32200g. I increased the ryan 32200g's speed to 1500mhz using 1.3 gfx voltage, and I haven't adjusted the soc voltage. I'm unsure if I need to change the soc voltage or not, and I can't locate it on my motherboard.

I wouldn't interfere with the SOC voltage. The article details how increasing the SOC voltage will deliver more voltage than anticipated. I would keep it unchanged and adjust only the vcore.
