You're considering upgrading your system by swapping out the RAM for a higher-end model with better performance. Given your current setup of a 3700x with 2400Mhz RAM, it seems like you're already at a solid baseline. The advice about decoupling the infinity fabric and boosting the clock speed to around 1800Mhz is worth exploring, but whether it's beneficial depends on your specific needs and budget. It could improve performance if your system bottlenecks, but it might not be necessary unless you're targeting high-end gaming or demanding applications.

It wouldn't be wise to rely on the IF for these low frequencies. A detailed list of your system specifications would help, including the RAM model numbers.

The FLCK needs to align with the RAM speed until it reaches a limit, possibly reducing it.
