i'm having a problem overclocking my cpu through BIOS and ryzen master, here what i've tried:
(ryzen master) 3.6 stock volt = ok > (ryzen master) 3.8 @1.29v = instant crash > (ryzen master) 3.8 @1.32v = crashed 3min after aida64 > (ryzen master) 3.7 @1.31v = passed 10min aida64, max temp ~70, but doesn't post after restart > (BIOS) 3.7 auto volt = passed 10min aida64 > (BIOS) 3.8 @ 1.29v = no post > (BIOS) 3.8 @1.32v = no post > (BIOS) 3.75 auto volt = no post > (BIOS) 3.7 auto volt, up ram to 2400 auto volt = no post > (BIOS) back to 3.7 auto volt = no post (WTH!!?)
now i just overclock to 3.6 via ryzen master.
BIOS was updated to the current ver.
spec:
ryzen3 1200
avexir core 8gb ddr4
msi b350m mortar arctic
gigabyte gtx 1060 xtreme gaming
silverstone st50f-es230 (500w)
please help

Is the BIOS current? If not, updating it will enhance OC stability.

It requires patience. Occasionally mb will perform a double post by restarting and posting again. I believe trying [email protected] v might work, and we can check if that achieves the desired result.

It requires some time, be patient. Occasionally mb will perform a double post (restart and post). I suggest trying [email protected] v and see if it works again. After waiting about 5-10 minutes, all indicators on fans, GPU, and motherboard lit up, but nothing appeared on the monitor.

after some research, located a beta bios in the msi forum, attempted (BIOS) oc to 3.7 auto voltage, booted successfully but crashed after roughly two minutes of aida64, with temperatures reaching 58c above (BIOS) oc to 3.7 @1.3v, then booted again. tried shutting down and rebooting, post. running aida64, maximum temps at 69c. stopped test after seven minutes, restarted but no improvement even after waiting six minutes. forced shutdown and rebooted, post!! > currently (BIOS) oc to 3.7 @1.275v = post, max temp while running aida64 67c. i definitely think the motherboard and/or bios are the issue right now. probably not restarting for me at this point.

Is the BIOS current? If not, updating will enhance OC stability. Yes, I've updated and flashed the beta BIOS.
