Hello, I have a question. My setup includes a Ryzen 3 1200 + GTX 1070 OC with 8GB DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz (4+4). I’m experiencing significant FPS drops in every game—Valorant for instance falls from 150 to 80 FPS. It looks very poor on my 144Hz display, and it’s difficult to aim due to these fluctuations. The game doesn’t run smoothly. Should I upgrade the CPU or are there other solutions I can try? I’ve already optimized the GPU with an OC to 3.7GHz, but it hasn’t helped much. Temperatures range between 50-68°C, and the CPU stays at 100% load during play. GPU usage is between 20-50%. Thanks for your help, and please correct my English if needed.

Upgrading relies on the motherboard. The R3 1200 might not be very powerful even with a GTX 1070.

You might enhance your CPU to a model similar to 5600X provided it matches a suitable motherboard
