Ryzen 2600 - 3.75gh
Ryzen 2600 - 3.75gh
I want to raise my CPU to at least 4gh, but currently I can only reach 3.975. It feels like I've reached the limit since I've already pushed it to 1.3500v. Of course, I'm glad I managed that high, but I've noticed others have pushed it to 4.1 and stayed stable without any issues. I was wondering if anyone has ideas on how else I could try to get closer to the target. (I'm still learning about overclocking.)
The Bios won't allow me past 1.3500v. I discovered Ryzen Master which lets me go up to 4gb, bypassing the bios' 1.35v cap and reaching 1.45v. But anything below that causes instability and my temps are too high at 4gh 1.45v (around 75c). Right now I'm using the stock cooler. 3.975 is significantly better than 3.4, so I'll keep it until I can get better components.
