Ryzen 1800x remains stable without overclocking on Gigabyte X470 Ultra MOBO
Hey there, I see you're having trouble with overclocking your CPU. It sounds like you've just installed the latest BIOS from Gigabyte Support, version F-50. You're using an XMP profile set to 3200 MHz and adjusting the CPU clock ratio to 40, which pushes it to 4.00 GHz. After rebooting, the BIOS becomes unstable and recommends using default settings. I'm not sure why this happens or how to fix it. You mentioned a Ryzen 1800X with boosted RAM at 3200 MHz—any advice on troubleshooting or adjusting settings? Thanks!
Adjust the voltage when boosting to 4GHz. Stability usually requires 1.325 - 1.375V at that frequency.
Thank you for your message. The adjustments aren't visible in the Advanced Voltage settings. I'm not sure how to proceed. Please find the attached images for reference.
