I own a 1700 and Prime B350A motherboard. My server is experiencing crashes, leading me to suspect the RAM issue. I also came across a discussion on the Unraid forum. I recall hearing about problems with Ryzen 1000 series RAM requiring specific Samsung modules. I checked out the website you shared for a guide, but I'm still unsure which RAM to choose. What RAM capacity do you have installed? Which slots are it located in? What is the current speed at which it's operating? Are there any frequent crashes or issues reported?

Key points to keep in mind about the first generation Ryzen: With the right BIOS updates, DDR4 compatibility should be fine. The CPU memory controller reaches a limit of 2666MHz; exceeding that needs careful tuning. Motherboards' memory controller supports up to 3200MHz in the proper slots. The second and fourth chips away from the CPU. Although I share the same board as you, I haven’t performed as thorough testing as on my ASRock B450. However, it seems there’s a problem with running four DIMMs—just like with the first and third slots—where the max stays at 2666MHz for Gen 1 Ryzen. The architecture supports dual channels; using one stick at 2133MHz will hurt performance. I’ve personally experienced slower speeds if you use a single channel with 2133MHz, especially compared to double-channel setups. Running a single stick at 2666MHz is stable, but adding another DIMM pushes it beyond the safe limit. If you opt for a single channel, expect reduced performance. For stability, I’d recommend 16GB at 3600MHz if possible, or manually tune and see what works. Personally, I’m happy with 1700MHz at 3600MHz, but it took some trial and error, and I also got lucky with the silicon option. Adding a second DIMM beyond four crashes everything.

Yes, it's present in slots 2 and 4. The DOCP is active. Blue screen issues are often due to RAM problems, while sudden shutdowns seem related to power supply concerns.

Found them in slots 2 and 4. I checked the manual for installation. It mentions stability concerns for RAM, but I also considered PSU since I had an older one there. Now I’m leaning toward RAM being the issue. That’s why I’m having trouble.
