Ryzen 1600x idle temperature?
Ryzen 1600x idle temperature?
I assembled my new Ryzen 1600X system using a B350 F gaming motherboard with a H100i GTX, but I notice consistently high idle temperatures without any overclocking. It's unclear which program to rely on since they all give conflicting information. I placed the Pea in the middle of the CPU and allowed the cooler to spread the paste naturally. The Corsair link shows temperatures around 20°C on the HW monitor, Aida 64, and Ryzen Master. I ran an Aida 64 extreme stress test for 10 minutes only reached about 48°C on the CPU in Aida 64 and Ryzen Master, with 70°C reported by the Corsair link. Thanks.
I'm not sure how Corsair Link displays CPU temperature readings. Core(s) and socket information? You can still use Ryzen Master. It seems HWinfo matches RM's findings on my machine.
Yes, my Ryzen 5 1600X (Corsair H60) also warms up a bit during idle. Even if it looks like it's idle, other processes might be active. Make sure to check the idle status when CPU usage is near zero.
Most importantly, what are the temperatures at full load?
I'm not sure how Corsair Link displays CPU temperature details like core count or socket information. However, Ryzen Master works well for this purpose. I've noticed HWinfo also matches Ryzen Master on my system.
My Ryzen 5 1600X (Corsair H60) also tends to run a bit warm during idle. Even if it seems to be idle, other processes might still be active. Make sure to check the idle status when CPU usage is near zero.
The main question is about the maximum temperatures under full load.
