CPU: Ryzen 1600
GPU MSI R9 285 2gb Gaming Edition
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz
MOBO: MSI A320M GRENADE
CPU: Seagate 1TB FireCuda Gaming SSHD
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Attempting to increase clock speed to 3.8GHz @ 1.35v, but it doesn’t change in HWMonitor or CPU-Z during gameplay; it remains at 3.3GHz constantly and only reaches 3.8GHz when launching a program or game. Never achieves 3.8GHz while playing.
Assuming this motherboard can handle overclocking despite being inexpensive, I brought it here seeking assistance.
😛
FPS in games: average around 50-60, peak up to 70-90 depending on settings; textures are the main bottleneck, render scale at maximum.
GTA V: 90-120 average, cap at 130 (some settings very high, others low).
Note: I also tried AMD Ryzen Master overclocking, but it restarts the PC and reports failure, so it doesn’t work.

A320 mainboards aren't overclockable, just B350/X370...
Sorry.
🙁

Hey there, everything's fine. I don't believe my GPU would boost my FPS much.
