Hello, I'm facing some challenges with my new CPU and motherboard. Issues include: + A320m/b450m boards only have two fan headers (CPU with one sys fan) so I need an A520m/b550m which has three. I can't find any fan splitters locally. (Maybe wait and see if someone nearby can get them from abroad.) + I'm considering a Ryzen 3600 but it's quite expensive (85$ or about 230$ in my currency, which is roughly 230$ here). The gaming performance difference I've seen is only 15-23 FPS right now. (I've read Ryzen 1600AF works on A520 boards, but I want to know others' experiences. I read it might not support Ethernet in that configuration.) Should I: +choose the Ryzen 1600AF+B450m and wait for fan splitters (two 230mm case fans into one header) +1600AF+A520m and try it? + or stick with 3600+A520m for 85$ more?)

It has five 4-pin fan headers: two for the CPU, two for power on/off, and one at the rear IO. The model number might be unclear.

A 3,100 would perform better in games than a 1,600 AF, and it's likely more affordable.

We don’t have many Asrock units here. The ones I’ve seen so far only had half fan connectors. However, I just discovered a shop that sells an ASROCK B450M-HDV with three fan headers.

Confirm CPU compatibility with the A520 model. Most are only compatible with Ryzen 3000/5000, not the 3200G or 3400G.

Single-core speed matters just as much, and a 3300x offers significantly more power than an 1600af.
