Ryzen 1500X overclock problem
Ryzen 1500X overclock problem
Anyone have suggestions for a stable voltage range to achieve that 1500X to 3.9? I experimented with 3.9 and 1.35 volts for Cinebench, but it crashed. My setup uses an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One with a custom fan curve that maintains the CPU at 59°C during Prime95 runs (6 hours) at an OC of 3.8 at 1.31875v. Heat isn't the issue here. I'm cautious about pushing voltage too high, especially with Ryzen chips, and want to avoid risking the silicon.
I don't have enough details to determine the exact motherboard and RAM configuration. Could you provide more information or specifications?
try 1.4v and 3.9 then. 1.45v is the absolute limit because of the high temperature. Keep an eye on the temperature in prime95, as long as it's under 80, you should be okay. That feels a bit high. I think I'll stick with 3.8 for now. Just a little over 0.08 volts to get a bit more from the OC...nah.
