Hi There Everyone.
I’m reaching out for some advice.
I recently got Ryse - Son Of Rome on a good deal, and it was recommended by a friend.
The main issue is with the starting frame rate – I’m experiencing huge FPS problems.
No matter the resolution I set or the quality I choose, it stays around 40s to high 50s, but never exceeds 50% GPU usage.
Has anyone else faced this problem?

Here are my system specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: 1080ti
PSU: 750w
MBD: Asrock X470

Did you check for updates to Al drivers and firmware? Also, were any background tasks consuming resources?

Also check the CPU utilization per core to see how it's performing. You mentioned it was really affected by optimization.

It might be a CPU bottleneck; previously, CryEngine didn't fully utilize multiple cores, but it now scales well with higher core clock speeds.

Yeah, it seems like your GPU isn't responding much. Have you attempted updating the DDU or installing a new driver for the GPU?

Tested it on a fresh Windows installation. Same problem persists.

Apologies if you previously identified a solution, but I resolved it by switching the Low Latency setting from "on" to "ultra" in the game's program settings (available in the NVIDIA control panel).
