Hello, I just put together my new PC and installed a new GPU. The specs stopped showing after installation. CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X, RAM: 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance CL30, 6000MHz when no GPU is on, using IGPU works fine. But once I added the RX 7800 XT it just froze and displayed a black screen—both on the GPU and IGPU ports. When I installed the RX 7800 XT in another PC it worked perfectly. I’ve tried reseating the GPU multiple times, swapping GPUs, changing power cables and connectors, updating BIOS, checking monitor ports, adjusting PCIe slots, using different RAM sticks, and even testing the motherboard’s VGA light. Nothing changed. I’m really stuck and feeling frustrated.

Using the board's HDMI for display while allowing GPU passthrough enables both visual output and hardware performance, ensuring smooth operation.

I've already tried that (it didn't work), but I'm ready to give it another shot, please wait a moment.

I have HDMI connected to the IGPU (no display), DPD on the IGPU (shows output), and GPU has no output.

Yes, you can view the GPU in Device Manager or GPU-Z after output appears on the iGPU.

appears and the output comes from the GPU. It’s unclear why it functioned suddenly, but there could be several reasons—software update, system refresh, or hardware change. Let me know if you want to investigate further.

Make sure Windows or Linux is installed before trying to fix GPU issues in BIOS.

I'm feeling drained, planning to set up Linux (NixOS) tomorrow and do an update afterward.
