Received a fresh monitor (HP Omen 27U). Currently using RX580 which will be upgraded soon. Surprised to find 144 Hz or 120 Hz not possible at 4K, despite being limited to 60 Hz. Checked Discord forums but couldn't resolve after troubleshooting drivers and settings. Tried different bit depths (8-bit), display modes (4:2:2), DP cables, reset display settings, port changes, and reinstalled drivers. Someone on Discord mentioned DP 1.4 is active, even though it's not supported. Any other advice?

Yes, please verify. Your monitor's OSD indicates whether it operates in 1.2 or 1.4 mode.

My OSD shows DP 1.4, yet the Radeon display settings display 'Current link settings 5.4 Gbps x 4', indicating a discrepancy in the reported speed.

It seems many users face the same problem at this link. Probably your card can't handle the required bandwidth, which is quite disappointing.
