Hello, I experimented with the game at reduced settings on a Gtx 670 before upgrading to a RX580. After cleaning the old drivers with DDU and installing the latest AMD drivers, I tried launching the game but faced issues. The process started but didn’t progress, and I encountered an error saying "rdr exited unexpectedly." I reinstalled drivers, adjusted settings in the GPU control panel, followed support instructions, and even tried switching to Windows 10, but nothing worked. Anyone have similar experiences or suggestions?

If the newest version for the 580 isn't working, try the previous one. I've heard some AMD users faced problems with RDR2, but the latest should be okay since it's what I use. There was a crash after the first pop-up video, so I had to install DDU and update the driver. At that time, it wasn't clear which driver worked, but it might help now.

I attempted to revert to the driver with "red dead redemption support" listed at the top of the changelog, but I stopped after that.

I face the same issue again. My GTX 960 ran smoothly in RDR2, but after switching to the RX 580 it stopped working unexpectedly. I've tried all suggested fixes—changed settings, reinstalled the game, disabled antivirus, even removed speakers and mic because I noticed compatibility issues. I'm concerned this problem might not have been widely reported yet.

I face the same issue. The gtx graphics function properly, but using the rx 580 causes crashes. It might be linked to the recent game update.

The solution is in the link provided by gvha. I was unable to access the integrated graphics card, but now I can play the game.
