Rx580 illumination with pink or red hue
I've owned my RX580 for more than two years and it's performed well. Recently, while playing a game, my monitors went black. After resetting my PC, the issue persisted—my displays are flickering and showing an error saying they can't detect another monitor. I reset again, but now my monitors won't turn on at all, and a red/pink light is flashing from my GPU. Anyone have any advice?
Start by connecting just one display to the graphics card to check for issues with that specific unit. Test different ports like DisplayPort and HDMI to see which works. Next, reinsert or clean the connections on the card and power cable. If that doesn’t help, look into alternative solutions such as using another graphics card or checking if your CPU includes an integrated graphics solution.
Thanks for the update. I reset each monitor individually and everything is working now, but both screens are displaying the same content. In the display settings, it still reports it can't detect another monitor.
This might stem from either software or hardware problems. Likely it's a software concern. You can attempt to update your drivers and opt for restoring default settings to verify it wasn't a configuration issue. If updates aren't required, reverting to factory defaults in AMD's software via the Preferences menu may help. Should the factory reset still fail, the problem could lie with the current driver version.
