I've been assembling a new PC for a family friend's grandson today using an AM5 platform. The goal is to use the old RX 580 as a temporary solution until the B580 model returns. Currently, the system won't boot into BIOS or Windows; instead, a bright white line appears at the top left of the screen. I've attempted several fixes: adjusting PCIe lanes on the motherboard (no improvement), switching boot mode from UEFI to CSM (the PC won't start at all in CSM), downloading RX580 drivers for my 6700XT (AMD software blocked due to GPU differences), updating the BIOS, and re-seating the CMOS battery. I'm running out of options and would really appreciate any guidance. The PC specifications are available here.
