Here’s the updated version of your message:

Hey everyone,
I’m experiencing a major restart problem with my gaming PC after installing an XFX Radeon RX 6750 XT. The system frequently restarts only during intense gaming sessions (such as playing Oblivion Remastered, Dragon's Dogma 2, or Baldur's Gate 3 in high settings), but functions normally during regular tasks. I even played BG3 with custom medium settings for over three hours without any interruptions.

Here’s my setup:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G
- GPU: XFX Radeon RX 6750 XT
- PSU: Corsair RM750e (750W, ATX 3.1, PCIe 5.1, 80+ Gold, Fully Modular)
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-A II
- RAM: 3T-Force Delta 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
- Storage: 512TB NVMe SSD, 2x1TB SATA HDD
- OS: Windows 11
- Cooling: 1 Master + 3 Slave ARGB Kit 5000 Fans, plus 4 Core 12 Fans

What I’ve tried:
✅ Switched PSU to Corsair RM750e (no improvement)
✅ Performed a clean install of AMD Adrenalin drivers via DDU (no success)
✅ Ran multiple stress tests with Furmark + Prime95 and OCCT – restarts never occurred
✅ Monitored temperatures; CPU and GPU stayed within safe ranges
✅ Reinstalled Windows 11 (still facing the same issue)

I’m unsure if the problem lies with the GPU or if there’s an issue with motherboard compatibility. Initially, I suspected a PSU fault due to power spikes during heavy games, but no visual errors or crashes have occurred. Several games I tested for hours without any restarts:
- Skyrim Special Editions (2 hours)
- The Sims 4 (1 hour)
- Baldur's Gate 3 (custom medium settings, 3 hours)
- The Witcher 3 (custom medium settings, 1 hour) – also restarted when I slightly increased graphics settings

Anyone else have encountered this issue with the RX 6750 XT? Any suggestions before considering an RMA? Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
ASUS Prime B450M-A II
What BIOS version are you using for your motherboard?
Used
DDU to perform a clean install of AMD Adrenalin drivers (no success)
It’s recommended to run DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers (Intel, Nvidia, AMD), then manually install the newest drivers from AMD's support site via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
Are you curious if placing a fan near the VRM area of your motherboard improves your results?
Anyone experienced with this issue has encountered problems with the RX 6750 XT? Please share advice before considering an RMA.
To confirm, I’d remove the dedicated GPU and test it on another system with more than 750W power supply from a reliable user to see if the problem continues.

Thank you for your reply! I also updated the BIOS recently after a few restarts, hoping it would fix the issue, but it still doesn't work. Regarding the DDU, I meant that I first uninstalled the driver in safe mode and then reinstalled Adrenalin after restarting. Unfortunately, that didn't help. I don't believe overheating is the cause, since even when I booted up the PC and played a game, the restart still occurred within a few minutes. However, during Furmark tests lasting about an hour, my GPU would behave strangely and the restart never happened. I also forgot to mention that I tried removing my GPU and running games with my CPU's integrated graphics, but the restart still didn't occur. To be honest, I don't have anyone to turn to—maybe a computer service shop is the only option, especially if they have a machine with more than 750W.

Update the chipset driver to the newest release. Also, ensure you have two distinct PCI cables connected to the GPU, with each cable delivering 150 watts of power.

Yes, the restarts might be linked to the CPU affecting the GPU performance.

If the CPU reaches 80°C it shouldn't trigger a shutdown, but exceeding 90°C may lead to it powering off. Even at full load, 80°C is quite high for that chip. Using a stock cooler won't help; upgrading to a better one, such as a Thermal right assassin burst with six heatpipes, would be ideal.
