Rx 580 vs GTX 1060
Rx 580 vs GTX 1060
Which good performs better in performance between the Rx 570/580 and GtX1060?
RX 580 and GTX 1060 6GB both work well together. They handle performance reasonably compared to each other. I wouldn't recommend a GTX 1060 3GB, nor would I choose the RX 570 unless I couldn't afford the GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580. The RX 580 also offers more RAM than the GTX 1060 6GB. When gaming at 1080P resolution, the difference between 6GB and 8GB cards isn't as significant, but at higher resolutions like 1440P, the RX 580's larger 8GB buffer gives it an edge for long-term gaming, even though its performance remains close to the 1060.

Games that employ extremely detailed textures like GTA V and COD Infinite Warfare require 8GB of VRAM even when displayed in 1080P resolution.
The 3gb and 4gb models perform well for 1080p gaming. I play all my games—GTA5, BF1, various MMOs—at ultra high detail with AA enabled. High resolution shadows on GTA5 aren't possible without exceeding 3gb of VRAM. Battlefield 1 is more CPU-intensive than GPU-heavy, using only about 2.8gb of VRAM. I'm thinking of upgrading; if you're on a tight budget, consider the 10603gb or 580 4gb models with MSI 1060 3gb OCV1. It maintains around 75fps consistently across all titles.
