Rx 570 undervolt
Rx 570 undervolt
Hey
I own a sapphire Rx 570 plus itx.
It was quite hot, and some people advised me to undervolt it to fix the issue. I lowered the voltage from 1150 MV to 1000 MV, and it stabilized. It runs fine at the max clock speed, which is better than expected.
I’m wondering if this is safe and won’t damage my GPU. The person who sold me the card warned me not to mess with it, saying I wouldn’t be responsible if something went wrong.
You can find some YouTube videos about undervolting graphics cards by searching for the specific card name along with "undervolt".
I used a video guide, but I'm here to help with your actual question.
There is no valid cause for an undervolt to negatively affect your GPU.
The worst scenario is instability (crashes or visual issues), and the only solution would be to slightly raise the voltage.
