I recently purchased an RX 480 with 8GB RAM and was very pleased until I started playing BF1!!! The frames per second ranged from 40 to 60 and often dropped to 30 or below. It became nearly impossible to play sometimes, even on DX12. Regarding DX11, FPS fell to 30-45 now. My question is whether there’s a way to improve this situation? I stopped playing BF1 because of these issues. Other titles run smoothly—Watch Dogs 2, for example, maintains around 40-50fps even at maximum settings (sometimes). Even in the lowest BF1 settings, the same problems occur. What options do I have now? My CPU is an i5 4590, GPU a Sapphire Nitro+, 8GB OC RAM, 16GB SSD (Corsair + Team), HDD is a 1TB WD 7200rpm drive, PSU is Thermaltake TR2 600W Bronze, and 80+.

CPU activity reaches maximum at 100%, with the highest temperature recorded at 82 degrees. Usage stays consistently high. GPU consumption is between 95 and 100%, averaging around 76 degrees. RAM utilization stands at 92 MB.

The main constraint is clear, with both components operating at maximum efficiency.

It's not uncommon for I7 processors to achieve 80+ FPS in Ultra mode, especially with good drivers and stable hardware. Your experience of 40-60 in lowest settings might be due to other factors like graphics drivers, system load, or background processes. It’s generally normal if you’re seeing such performance.

Additionally, the PSU is quite poor.

You're seeing 60-70 FPS on Batfeild 1 with your i5 1320 and GTX 1050 Ti. That's a solid performance for those hardware specs!

Understood, the FPS is quite low, to be honest.

This shouldn't influence the frame rate in any way?
