Thanks for the feedback. After chatting with some Rust subreddit members, it seems there was an update a few years back that changed the streaming/graphics engine. The intention was to boost performance, but it ended up hurting it instead. No real improvements were made—just more unnecessary updates. The only known solution is using an AMD X3D CPU, which seems better for gaming Rust, though the X3D series doesn’t handle mixed tasks as well. I plan to gather a list of suggestions from the linked post and our discussion to see what might help. It’s frustrating that such a solid game feels so poorly optimized.
