Play on various maps, but keep in mind on larger ones you'll hit your RAM limits. I can comfortably run 11 gigabytes on Upsurge 3x solo/duo with Discord open in the background, of course.

My computer is not working properly
it has an i5 660 with 3.33 cores and 3.60 boost
10gb of RAM
an AMD HD 7730 with 2gb GDDR5 VRAM
directX 11 support
I think it runs on a Hewlett Packard 304GB model
with a 500GB HDD
... I would prefer a better setup if I were older, but I’m still in control of my parents – please suggest upgrades.

I wouldn't make any changes there.
I’d remove the hard drive and opt for a more affordable AMD APU setup, like this one:
