Hello everyone!
I just signed up on this forum because this issue is really frustrating me !!!
I’m aware that Rust is known for poor performance, but this situation is different.
The game was running smoothly when the computer was new, but now it’s getting worse and worse until it becomes unbearable to play.
There are significant lagging issues and some extreme FPS drops.
On Task Manager, the GPU never exceeds 40%?
About a year ago I tried some software to mine cryptocurrency on my PC.
I think the GPU might have overheated and broken due to overclocking or something.
I did reset the BIOS to the recommended settings though...
I’ve reset Windows several times (around 30 attempts), but the problem still persists......
Here are my specifications:
Intel® Core™ i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz
32 GB RAM
RTX 3090 graphics card.
I don’t have much experience with hardware.
Could anyone who’s really skilled in this connect to my PC via TeamViewer and check what’s going on?
I would really appreciate your help.

Hello mate!
I’m not very familiar with hardware, but here’s my computer:
https://www.multicom.no/multicom-drogo-i...1500015503
It’s in Norwegian, but you can press “spesifikasjoner” to see all the details.
The CPU and GPU never reach maximum.
Occasionally the fans work really fast.
Sometimes the machine makes a loud noise like a vacuum cleaner while I’m just playing a game.
Thanks for your help!
