I think it will never truly be completed. It seems like a recurring "Minecraft"-style update cycle, with regular improvements.

They completely revamped the entire experience. It's a massive improvement—over 1 million times better than before. The earlier release is called Legacy, and it remains accessible for those who want the original version. I wasn't expecting it to be released from early access until late next year.

When it launches from early access, we expect the game to meet certain recommended standards. Regarding The Forest, things are progressing steadily.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience. That game didn't live up to your expectations.

Currently, excluding frame rate issues, a single 770 should handle maximum performance. There are ongoing frame rate problems with the engine that developers are reporting to Unity for fixes—the team is using a beta version, which naturally leads to such issues. A specific reflection bug can cause performance drops even in SLI modes. Try joining a modded PvE server to experiment safely before switching to PvP. The game is also evolving, with modded servers receiving new tools as development progresses to support various playstyles.

I might receive a budget PC next year just for gaming titles like Rust, DayZ, ARMA III, The Forest...games I can't find on consoles. I still need a new machine. Regarding graphics cards, are there any upcoming models expected this year? (I don’t want to commit to a 970 if something superior is released next season).

I mean I'm curious since I've heard the 970 is just a minor improvement over the 770. I'm looking for an actual next-generation card that can support these games at 1080p or even 1440p at 60fps.
