Would it be safe if I overclocked my i5-4690k? I have a Corsair RM550x 550W btw. I want it to be overclocked to at least 4.3GHz, can I get it higher than this, or is this the best bet?

With a solid Z board and a reliable cooler, 4.3 is no issue for that CPU. Excellent power supply!

With a solid Z board and a suitable cooler, the 4.3 power supply is fine for that CPU. Excellent PSU! Also, what does a Z board actually mean—does it refer to a motherboard?

You can also ask to review this thread. I'm struggling with the optimal OC voltage and appreciate your help. Thank you.
